FAQ·Studio Thirty Media

Direct answers before the project starts.

The questions clients ask most often about services, scope, process, travel, turnaround, and how we work — answered clearly so you know what to expect.

Services

03

Corporate and executive video, commercial spots, brand films, recruiting content, executive headshots and team portraits, and conference or event coverage. We also support ongoing content through retainers. We do not shoot weddings, private parties, or consumer lifestyle volume.

We specialize in work for brands and organizations that need credible, boardroom-ready media — not weddings, fashion, or lifestyle volume. If the project needs senior judgment and a clear process, it is in our lane.

Yes, when scoped that way. Many clients combine leadership portraits with interview or brand film work on the same production day or week. We plan logistics so neither side feels rushed.

Scope & pricing

04

We quote after a short discovery call — deliverables, timeline, location, and turnaround. Once scope is agreed, you get a fixed quote. We do not bill open-ended hourly after the project starts.

No surprise hours. If the brief grows, we re-scope and confirm any change before additional work begins. Your original quote stays intact until you approve a revision.

Most projects require a deposit to hold the date and begin planning. The balance is due on delivery or per the schedule on your proposal. Exact terms are written into the quote.

Standard delivery is finished, usable masters and selects. RAW or unedited footage can be included when scoped — it is not assumed by default.

Process

03

We confirm scope, dates, and logistics in writing. You’ll get a clear plan for the shoot day — call times, wardrobe notes when relevant, and who owns what. Production then runs to that plan, with the same point of contact through delivery.

You work with senior people on the project — including direct founder involvement. You are not handed to a junior bench after the agreement is signed.

We set up at your office or in studio. Individuals usually take 1–2 hours; teams follow a timed flow so people step in, get directed, and return to work. Selects are retouched naturally and delivered for web, LinkedIn, and print use.

Travel

02

Yes. Houston metro is our home base. Projects nationally are available — travel, lodging, and related costs are quoted as part of scope so there are no surprises.

Yes. Most team headshots and many corporate video days happen at the client location. We bring portable lighting and a clean setup so your space stays professional and your people stay on schedule.

Turnaround

03

Headshot selects are often same-day or next-day when scoped that way. Event highlights commonly land within the same week. Corporate and brand films usually take a few weeks depending on complexity. Rush schedules are available when needed and confirmed up front.

Same-day highlights or headshot previews are available on select projects when booked in advance. Availability depends on the day’s scope and crew plan.

Two to four weeks is comfortable for most single-day projects. Conferences, multi-day films, and peak seasons benefit from earlier holds. Dates are confirmed upon deposit — not inquiry alone.

Revisions

02

Your quote states the revision rounds for the agreed deliverables. Feedback that stays inside the original brief is covered. New concepts or major scope changes are re-quoted before we proceed.

Consolidate notes from your stakeholders into one round when possible. Specific, time-coded or file-referenced feedback keeps the process efficient and protects the included revision round.
